FitSok ISW Isolwool Pink Crew 2pk  ($25) Spring has sprung and the trails are open, but muddy after April showers.  Ring in May and Mother’s Day by picking up mom a new pack of socks she can rock on the trail and keep the mud out of her shoes. These socks are made for packing on the miles!  The  merino wool and polypropylene fabric provide excellent moisture control as temperatures rise and also deliver light cushioning to aid in the  prevention of nasty blisters.  Wool naturally fights bacteria to help keep odors at bay and remain fresh for months to come.  Make no mistake wool is not just for winter – these are all weather socks that deliver superior support for any adventure imaginable.

Nuun Betty Designs Water Bottle ($7) A runner can never have too many water bottle!  The Betty design with its skulls and butterflies brings out mom’s inner BADASS.  We all know moms are tough, but mix in a bit of runner attitude and they can conquer any feat you throw at them.  Cute and tough, this bottle is made to last and is dishwasher safe…so easy cleaning for busy and active moms.  Help make her water count!

Picky Bar Believe Training Journal Autographed by Lauren Fleshman ($19.99) Look no further for a unique gift to inspire mom to keep pushing her boundaries and training like a beast.  You have three color choices to select from:  charcoal, lavender, or classic red.  This journal comes with tons of information and motivation.  Blank so mom can start to enter her workouts the minute she gets it and continue to do so for 52 weeks.   There is a ton of space to record not only one’s miles, but also life events, goals, strategies, weather, ect.  My favorite part are the weekly quotes, they are thought provoking and really make me dig deep.  In addition there are tips on training, building confidence, body image, racing, nutrition, and so much more. This is a comprehensive book that will help elevate mom’s running game.

Orange Mud HydraQuiver VP1 ($119)  Hydration is key when training solo. If mom is out pounding the pavement or traveling on the local trail ensuring she has the proper hydration vest is key to safety and her success.  My ultimate favorite hydration pack is the HydraQuiver VP1.  The 25 oz bottle allows me to bring my fluid of choice (which is Nuun or Tailwind).  Fashion and function have collided in the creation of this vest.  There are currently two color choices to select from: black or gray…both go with everything and we all know black is slimming:)  In all seriousness mom can stuff the from pockets with all the essential items like food, keys, salt tabs, phone, tissues, you name it you can fit it in.  The stretch material the pockets are constructed out of are beyond crazy – you can cram them full and still have room to spare.  Not to mention there are 2 additional pockets located on the shoulder straps and a back pocket along side of the bottle carriage.  Reflective material has been added to the back of the vest for added safety.  Three adjustable straps allow for an individual fit that is comfortable and easy to adjust.

Roll Recovery R3 Orthopedic Foot Roller ($26.99) Designed to target specific areas of the foot and help stretch out sore muscles.  We all know moms work hard and tired, aching feet can be a by product of all that she does to take care of us. R3 to the rescue!  Simple to use this tiny tool packs a punch.  Think foam roller benefit but foot focused.  Soft to the touch with limited friction, compact so you can take it anywhere, and can double as body roller.  A gift that keeps on giving!

Trail Toes Cream ($11.99) One of the little piggy may have gone to the market, but chances are mommy runner’s piggies have gone much further and need TLC!  In my humble opinion nothing takes care of runner’s feet better than Trail Toes Cream.  This anti friction foot and body cream is made for the extreme athlete we all know mom is!  Under tough conditions it will protect from chaffing and blistering, keeping mom’s feet intact and ready to roll. It is engineered to protect on every terrain imaginable regardless of how wet, dry, or hot it is.  Help mom explore and take on new adventures with confidence she will be blister free.

Burt’s Bees Lip Balm ($3.30) I’m a sucker for great lip balm.  When you are out running for hours on end your lips are exposed to the elements and can take a beating.  Burt’s Bees Lip Balm is my go to running and everyday go to.  The collection of natural lip balms is formulated to moisturize, hydrate and nourish. Mom deserves the best and Burt’s Bees only uses the highest quality ingredients to create their products.  Pick up a few sticks for mom so she always has one on hand when she heads out the door for a run.

Hopefully these ideas got your creative juices flowing and you are ready to pick up your runner mom up an awesome Mother’s Day gift.  Don’t forget a sweet, heartfelt card!
