Father’s Day is quickly approaching (June 19th), but there is still plenty of time to find the perfect gift for the runner dad in your life!  Here are some of the last minute gift ideas that could help spark countless hours of fun summer training and make your father runner super happy on his special day. I have included prices and links to help make your life even easier.
Ya Animal Tee

Ya Animal Tee   ($25) This badass shirt has versatility written all over it.   With a slim fit design and super soft fabric dad is going to fall in love with this shirt the minute he tries it on.  Chances are he’ll never take it off and who could blame him it is AMAZING! Also available in female sizes if you forgot to pick something up for mom last month. Limited release and supply, these shirts will not stick around long…don’t delay.

ISW Isolwool® Crew 2pk

FitSok ISW Isolwool Orange Crew 2pk  ($25) Summer is upon us and the trails are open, but things are heating up.   The  merino wool and polypropylene fabric provide excellent moisture control and also deliver light cushioning to aid in the  prevention of nasty blisters.  Wool naturally fights bacteria to help keep odors at bay and remain fresh for months to come.  Make no mistake wool is not just for winter – these are all weather socks that deliver superior support for any adventure imaginable. These socks are made for packing on the miles and will help dad achieve his training goals in style!

Nuun Premium Blue Trucker Hat ($18) A runner can never have too many hats! Help dad become the envy of all his running buddies with the latest trend – trucker hats.  Yep, the 80’s still has made a resurgence in the running community and is all the rage once again.  This time around though these hats are designed to be not only cool, but also function in the hot summer months to wick sweat away and keep the sun out of dad’s eyes…win-win.

Picky Bar 32oz Hydro Flask ($44.99)  Look no further for a unique gift to keep dad hydrated all summer long when he is not out running. This large double wall vacuum insulated water bottle is designed for the active lifestyle dad leads and can help to keep him on point with his training and hydration goals.  In addition to being stylish they are built tough with BPA free stainless steel water bottle that keeps liquids cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hour. It will quickly become dad’s favorite bottle and go-to travel companion.
HydraQuiver Vest Pack 1, Hydration pack, Black

Orange Mud HydraQuiver VP1 ($119)  Hydration is key when training solo. If dad is out pounding the pavement or traveling on the local trail ensure he has the proper hydration vest to power through each run.  The HydraQuiver VP1 allows dad to transport a 25 oz bottle filled with his fluid of choice (my favorite options are  Nuun or Tailwind).  Fashion and function have collided in the creation of this vest.  There are currently two color choices to select from: black or gray.  Dad can stuff the from pockets with all the essential items like food, keys, salt tabs, phone, tissues, you name it you can fit it in.  The stretch material the pockets are constructed out of are beyond crazy – you can cram them full and still have room to spare.  Not to mention there are 2 additional pockets located on the shoulder straps and a back pocket along side of the bottle carriage.  Reflective material has been added to the back of the vest for added safety.  Three adjustable straps allow for an individual fit that is comfortable and easy to adjust.

2oz/57g Trail Toes Jar

Trail Toes Cream ($11.99) Happy feet = happy runner!  This anti friction foot and body cream is made for the extreme athlete !  Under tough conditions it will protect from chaffing and blistering, keeping dad’s feet intact and ready to roll. It is engineered to protect on every terrain imaginable regardless of how wet, dry, or hot it is.  Help dad push his boundaries this summer and  explore confidence, blister free.

Inside Tracker  (starting at $49)  The concept personalized nutrition and lifestyle recommendations is something that could help take dad’s training to the next level. If he works his butt off all year long, but is not seeing the results he desires, nutrition may be the key to unlock this mystery and jump start his summer training .  Help dad get in the best shape possible with a balanced diet designed specifically for him to support the physical demands he places on his body.  Inside Tracker takes the guess work out of that part, letting an athlete focus on their training.  “Optimize Your Body’s Performance” with sophisticated, science-based blood analytics, tailored just for dad.

Hopefully these ideas help you out  to hook your runner dad up with an awesome Father’s Day gift.  Bonus points if you throw in a card!
